Working in the Unexpected

As Christians, we have different seasons in our life just as we have earth’s seasons. As the seasons change so does the weather change. The seasons go from cold, hot, to windy, and then to cool Fall weather. But no matter the seasons we all manage to adapt and dress accordingly to whatever season it is at that appointed time.

So, what happens when the Lord sends you in an unexpected season that you didn’t have on your radar? A season where you believe that it should be a pleasant comfortable experience but yet instill there you are in a place of uncertainty and unknown .

Jeremiah 29:7 And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”

As I read that scripture above , the Holy Spirit said sometimes the Lord will send us in places that we didn’t plan to go and never imagined however, despite the season of the unexpected God still expects and desires us to work while we are there !! When you are exiled, you are in a place where you didn’t plan to go But yet God still desires us to work and continue to build a relationship with Him through prayer!

Working in the unexpected, uncomfortable seasons with a focus on God through prayer I believe will determine how swiftly your seasons change in life. God wants to see can we still worship Him even in the unexpected.
