Working for the One that Matters !

As I read through Ephesians 6 , the word work , the words will of God, and heart popped out to me.

Ephesians 6:7 Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.

Work is for most people an every day task and a part of life. But at times we dread going ( this is me sometimes) although I’m very thankful for my job !

Ephesians 6:6 Try to please them all the time, not just when they are watching you. As slaves of Christ, do the will of God with all your heart.

As I read the scriptures reminds us that when we are working we are not supposed to be working to be seen while also trying to make ourselves look good .... doing so under these conditions will tire is out and leave us frustrated because people are really never satisfied with what you do ! They at some point find something to knick pick about ! But God !! When we work in whatever ministry he has purposes us for with all our heart and minds on Him he rewards us with such blessings.

I just believe that the Word of God is true and doesn’t come back void so in whatever I do ... I’m striving to align my actions and my works with the Word of God ....

Ephesians 6:8 Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free.

Ephesians 6:8 is a great promise we can hold on to when we hit that time clock and when we are called to ministry near & far within our ministries!
