What Motivates You ?

As I study the Word of God , I find myself more & more , day by day motivated to change my life and life my liked to the best of my ability according to God’s Word. In God’s Word we find a navigational system of wisdom and advice (especially Proverbs) of how we should strive to live . But here’s my question .... do you find yourself being motivated by the Word of God or by worldly things and what you see others have ?

Ecclesiastes 4:4 Then I observed that most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbors. But this, too, is meaningless—like chasing the wind.

The scripture above I believe challenges us all to check our foundation of our motivations ... What is the driving force that makes us do the things we do in our lives ?

Is it the Word of God and His instructions he left for us

or

Is it people, material things, and the need to keep us with society in the World today .

So I encourage you to check what motivates you ! Will your actions provide temporary gain or eternal gain .
