What Have You Done ?

I will start this post off with a question for us all to ponder and meditate over in our minds.

What have you done in your life to cause your path to become a steep incline ?

Isaiah 26:7 But for those who are righteous,

    the way is not steep and rough.

You are a God who does what is right,

    and you smooth out the path ahead of them.

Now as I read this morning , my attention was zoomed in to Isaiah 26:7. But for those who are righteous which is the first sentence automatically sets for us a description of those that can yet still find themselves on a smooth path yet while even in the midst of adversities.

So , what have you done that has detoured you from the smooth paths that God provides for us in our lives ?

When storms arise, here are a few things that can cause us to start feeling the burn of the steep inclines of life instead of the smooth path of life. As I list them remember that , the smooth path is not an indication of no trials or afflictions but it is a description of what we can obtain mentally , emotionally , and spiritually when we continue to stay connected with God!

1. A lost of desire to stay connected to God in your personal relationship with Him.

2. We become sloppy in what we offer God- our prayer , praise, our obedience, and our steadfastness in our adversities.
