James 1:2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.
James 1:3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
God’s testing is meant to refine you , not refrain you from praising Him. We are to recognize that God takes us through things all for a purpose and not , for our bad. Our testing seasons , ( I made that plural to reflect that we will all go through many tests) are meant to help us grow and mature rather than us never truly growing up on our Christian journey. So let’s us remember that God’s testing is for a divine purpose and meant for our good! It is indeed up to us though how we handle our tests. Will we study to show ourselves worthy within the test or will we instead fail our tests by not studying and seeking God whom has been deemed as our Master Teacher.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
