The Gift of Peace

Throughout God’s Word, as we read and study over His Word , there are so many jewels that we can find not hidden but in plain sight ! For example the book of Proverbs provides us a reference of advice on so many topics that we have the potential to face in the world today . We find the benefits of seeking wisdom while also being able to find in Proverbs 31 what it means to be a virtuous woman . Now those are just a few examples that I thought I would mention .

In John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

In the above scripture Jesus also shares that he has left us the gift of peace . Peace in the midst of whatever is going on around us . He also gives us encouragement from the gift of peace telling us to not let our hearts be troubled!! What a gift that Jesus gives to us ! So while it seems that we have faced obstacles after obstacles let us continue to live out God’s Word in our lives in Jesus Name ! Let’s not be afraid , for the gift of peace is a gift that Jesus wants us to open up everyday of our lives ! Be blessed and stay encouraged.
