Loving Yourself so You can love others !

Love is a powerful tool that is more effective when it is seen through our actions. God is love and instructs us to love our neighbor even if they don’t return that love to us! So how do we love others on this Christian race ? We first must love ourselves and live according to God’s Word. Making sure that we ourselves bear the fruit of the spirit is the first step to loving ourselves . Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

1. Love how God made you . He makes no mistakes

2. Find your joy in the Lord not people

3. Peace can be obtained through God’s Word because it gives us understanding and instruction

4. Focus on Gods goodness and you will develop long suffering as well as a faith system that grows

5. And lastly strive to stay humble and meek , which will help you keep a positive attitude towards yourself which in return will enable you to love others
